The City of Korea, Daejeon North
Euneungjeongi Sky Road:
A massive 214m-long LED arcade structure and the heart of shopping and culture in Daejeon. It features spectacular video shows and busking performances, making it the perfect starting point for your trip. You can walk around, eat delicious food, and shop.

An iconic local bakery that started in 1956. It is famous for specialties like Pantaloon Chives Bread and Fried Soboro. You can give up if the queue is too long, but the value of waiting is certain.

Temi Olla:
A cultural space comprising former official government residences. It offers various exhibitions, cultural programs, and a resting space called “Temi Salon,” which provides free drinks for travelers.
[Exhibitions and Experiences]
“Temi Olla offers a unique cultural experience across its various former government residences. Each house is transformed into a space where you can explore diverse exhibitions, cultural programs, and interactive displays that delve into the local history. It’s a wonderful place to engage with art and history in a cozy, residential setting.”
[Visitor Tips]
“To make the most of your visit, keep in mind that the site is closed on Mondays. It is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (please check the last entry time). I highly recommend spending some time at the ‘Temi Salon,’ where you can enjoy a complimentary drink and a peaceful moment of rest amidst your city exploration.”

SNS-Famous Cafes:
Explore cafes in Munhwa-dong that offer sophisticated interiors and beautiful terraces—perfect for taking photos and enjoying desserts. Each café has its own unique signature menu, making it difficult to pick just one recommendation. Instead, I hope you simply find a spot that speaks to you, sit back, and enjoy a well-deserved moment of rest.

Daedong Sky Park:
Located in Daejeon’s first Daldongne, it offers a panoramic view of downtown Daejeon. In particular, the sunset is famous for being beautiful, making it a great night view spot to take pictures of your life.

I stumbled upon a mural that read, ‘Find the golden key and save Haneuli from the time loop; I will gift you a memorable time.’ The character Haneuli, a cute pink otter stuck in this time loop, seemed to be beckoning me to follow. As I walked up the hill following the path of our little pink friend, I couldn’t help but feel like I had stepped into a storybook adventure. It’s these charming details that turn a simple walk into an unforgettable journey through Daejeon.
O-World
While O-World is a bit of a distance away and requires some travel, I highly recommend it if you have some extra time to spare. It’s also worth considering a visit during their night opening hours to enjoy a more magical experience
To be honest, O-World feels more like a place for families than for adults. I highly recommend it if you are traveling with children, as they will absolutely love the experience
