[만리포 해변] 소개
[Manripo Beach] Introduction

충청남도 태안군에는 관내에서 가장 유명한 해수욕장이 있습니다.
There is the most famous beach in Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.

서해안 3대 해수욕장 중 하나인 이 해수욕장은
길이 약 2.5km, 폭 약 230m, 면적 약 20만 평방미터인 대형 해수욕장입니다.
This beach, which is one of the three major beaches on the west coast, is a large beach with a length of about 2.5km, a width of about 230m, and an area of about 200,000 square meters.

서해안 지역답게 조수간만의 차가 크나 수심이 얕고 모래질이 고우며
경사가 완만하여 남녀노소 누구나 해수욕을 즐길 수 있는 공간입니다.
Like other west coast areas, the tidal range is large, but the water is shallow and the sand is fine, and the slope is gentle, making it a space where people of all ages can enjoy swimming.

매년 여름철이면 수많은 피서객들이 방문하는 태안국립공원의 대표 명소 중 하나입니다.

만리포해수욕장 정보
[Manripo Beach] INFO

이 해수욕장을 주변으로 일리포, 십리포, 백리포, 천리포 등
10의 배수로 이름이 커지는 해수욕장들이 있습니다.

Around this beach, there are beaches with names that increase in multiples of 10, such as Illipo, Sip-ri-po, Baek-ri-po, and Cheon-ri-po.

2007년 태안군을 휩쓸었던 / 태안 기름 유출 사고의 가장 큰 피해지였던 곳이었지만, 약 123만 명의 자원봉사자들의 노력으로 / 다시 원상복구한 기적을 만들어냈던 / 역사의 흔적이 남아 있는 곳이라고 하네요.

It was the area hardest hit by the 2007 Taean oil spill / that swept through Taean-gun, but it is said to be a place where traces of history remain, where a miracle of restoration was achieved / through the efforts of about 1.23 million volunteers.
